Not the begining, not the end...

This site is so I have some accountability to myself and a place I can track what I do.

So this is day two of my actual effort to become half the man you are.  I weighed myself in at 244.5 on Monday...GAH!  So yesterday I went to the Y and started benchmarking the weight I should be lifting and it's going alright.  I found SEVERAL exercises I could have put more weight on and some that were right on.  I am gong to see if I can put a table up here that will help me track my weight lifting and my diet.

I am going the low carb method to start.  I know there is a lot of argument on whether this is good or not and truth be told, I don't think it is very sustainable.  The reason I went with it is 1) I know I will eat eggs-cheese-cauliflower and the such with little effort.  Keeping to 20 carbs a day is easy for me.  Counting my calories and watching the magic 1700 number is more that I want to keep up with.  2) My cholesteral is HIGH... like 300 HIGH.  Lowering my carb in take coupled with some daily Omega 3 should hit that number like a hammer.

Well I am off to see about setting up a food/workout table in this blogging suite.
